What are Mordants

Mordants are used in order to intensify or change the color and also they make the resulting shade faster to light and washing. Generally in conventional dyeing copper, chrome and other heavy metals are used as mordant which are harmful.

But we at Nature's Laboratory use natural ingredients and mineral salts which, when added to the herbal dye bath either enhances, intensify, or change the color.
